I Robert Bloodworth, of New Hanover County and State aforesaid, being weak in body, but of sound mind, memory and judgement, God be praised, therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this, my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following, that is to say Imperius. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Rebecca Bloodworth, my negroes Boston, Hannah, Isaac, Claudia and Lina, likewise all the household furniture and stock of all sorts that I may die possessed of, also the utensils of husbandry. Item. I give and bequeath to my beloved children all the remaining part of my estate both real and personal to be divided equally amongst them as they become of age, their heirs and assigns forever I do hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife executrix and my friends William Jones, Timothy Bloodworth, David Jones, Jr. and Hugh Campbell my Executors to carry this my last Will unto execution, and I do hereby empower them to make title in my behalf for all lands sold by me Signed, sealed and acknowledged this 2nd day of July 1789.
