Source: Nc Archives & History Written: 1740 September 25 1740 In the name of God Amen This 25th day of Jan 1740 I John Parry of Wilmington in New Hanover County in the providence of North Carolina Favor Keeper being sick & weak in body but of sound & perfect mind and memory praise be given to god therefore do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following That is to say for all I recommend my soul to the hands of almighty god who gave it and my body to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my Exect hereafter named and as to such wordly goods wherewith it hath pleased god to blef me in this life. I bequeath & dispose thereof as follows First, my wife in that all my just debts and funeral expense be first paid and discharged by my Exect in one year after my decease. Item. I give and bequeath to my son Wm Perry the sum of 51 to be levid out of my estate in one year after my decease. Item. I give and bequeath to my son John Parry the sum of 51 to be pd by my estate in one year after my decease. Item. I give and bequeath to my son James Perry the sum of 51 to be pd by my estate in one year after my decease. Item.
