I, Daniel Bourdeaux, of the county of New Hanover and State of North Carolina being of sound mind and memory blessed by God, do make in this life my Last Will and Testament. I direct that my body be decently interred and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my estate and situation in life and as to such wordly estate as it has pleased God to intrust and bestow. I despose of as follows: First, I direct that all my just debts be paid by my executor as soon after my decease as can be done. I give and bequeath to my son Anthony D. Bordeaux all my land in the above named State and County, I also give to him my old negro woman - Dolly to be taken care of by him so long as she lives. It is my will that my executor sell all of my property of every description except my negroes, including my rail road stock, to pay my debts, and after my debts is paid I wish that balance together with my negroes to be divided between my three daughters Thankful A. Mathis, Margaret P. Bunting, and Hannah A. Hansley Have two hundred dollars more than my other two daughters in order to make their sahre equal with the other two daughters - Thankful and Margaret as I have advanced two hundred dollars to each of them the share of property I leave to my two daughters Margaet P. Bunting and Hannah A. Hansely I leave to them and the lawful heirs of their body. I leave my friend Aaron M. Lamb my executor of this my last will and testament.
