The following is a complete listing of the tombstones in the Acorn Branch Cemetery in New Hanover County, NC.

Location: in the woods on the right at the end of John Morris Road. Take N. Kerr Ave. from Market Street or MLK to left on Morris Road to John Morris. Go to almost the end of John Morris-its very short and the cemetery is on the right in the woods. You can see the path in. Its at the end of the run way of the airport. New Hanover County Airport will eventually fence this area off and restrict access. Supposedly they will come to let you in when you ring in at a gate-if they are available.

According to the McEachern book on New Hanover County cemetery's at the NC History room at the main library there may be additionally approximately 15 unmarked graves also at this location. I would place it more around 10 as the Leveque's (5 graves) were not listed in the cemetery book and now have a common marker for all 5.
