NOTE: From Dennis Jones - The Foys of Jones and Pender/New Hanover County all
descended from Captain James Foy, Sr. and Elizabeth Ward of Onslow County.
Enoch is buried at Clay Hill Plantation on Island Creek Road just east of
Pollocksville in Jones County. James, Jr. is buried at Popular Grove
Plantation near Scott's Hill north of Wilmington on US Hwy 17. The other Foy
children married into prominent families of Onslow, including Spicer, Dudley,
Rhodes, Nixon, Cox, and Montford.
